The objectives of "Ortega EmComm and Fire Watch" include wireless "Emergency Communications" during any emergency as well as Early Fire Detecton and Reporting, Comunication of Factual Information and to Create a High level of Visibility on "Red Flag" days to careless individuals and would be arsons,  in order to prevent the potential of a wildland fire as a result of their actions.  We want "would-be" arsonists and other careless individuals to know that they will be seen and reported.​

Our activities will be limited to Observation, Detection, and Reporting of illegal, suspicious, or careless activities, as well as early reporting of actual fires that occur from natural, accidental, or any other causes.

​Anyone that spends time on Ortega Hwy, or in surrounding areas, is welcome, and encouraged,  to join our efforts.
